Brompton S6L-X Wins Editor's Choice Award

The Brompton S6L-X won the Editor's Choice Award at this years Bicycling Magazine awards.

The Brompton won this years award for its compact fold and smooth ride, making it ideal for travel and moving in cities. Elspeth Huyett from Bicycling Magazine had this to say about the bike:

“The 16-inch wheels and all the joints may look intimidating and not totally trustworthy at first, but they are. Besides around town we’ve taken Brompton over cobbles, up steep hills, and down winding descents and they never feel unsafe or nervous. They’re responsive and nimble and fly up climbs.  A Brompton is also the ultimate excuse eliminator. Once you have one you can’t say “I don’t have room in my apartment for a bike” or “I can’t take my bike into the office”. It fits just about anywhere – it’s even allowed as a carry-on for the overhead bin on a plane.
